We’re very excited to announce the launch of Great Lakes GrowthWorks, a strategy consulting firm dedicated to helping companies and organizations innovate, grow, and realize their potential.
This blog is meant to let people know what we’re doing and what we’re interested in, as well as to better connect with individuals and companies doing great things (both local and afar). Follow and check back regularly to learn more about us – we’d love to do the same for you!
Here’s a message from Phil, our founder:
Many of my friends predicted that I would be back in the consulting game eventually – and they were right! Since leaving GfK/Arbor Strategy Group back in 2010, I have focused much of my energy on Michigan and the Great Lakes region – particularly on conservation and sustainability, economic revitalization, health and quality of life issues. I began helping a variety of organizations large and small, for-profit and not-for-profit, to grow and make a difference. Before I knew it, what began as solo project work evolved into an expanding team of colleagues and clients, with a scope extending beyond the region. I found the work to be fulfilling for me and meaningful for our clients, and I decided it was time to turn it into a “real” firm.
GrowthWorks is a natural continuation of what I’ve been doing for the past few years – a strategy firm with a social mission mindset. We help regional as well as national and international organizations play a social and economic role, growing both with their customers and in the broader world. We start by helping clients understand and better serve their customers, and extend that insight to help them differentiate themselves. This can include overall company vision and strategy, branding, new products and innovation, strategic market research and analysis, and a variety of other advisory services. The work is hands-on and lead by experienced senior team practitioners. Our goal is to develop true strategic partnerships with our clients, and to deliver unique, actionable growth strategies with long-lasting impact and value.
I have had the privilege to work with so many amazing clients over the years, and am excited to be “back in the saddle.” I hope we have a chance to work together soon. Thanks in advance for your support and friendship.
All the best,
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be moving and settling into our new office space in downtown Ann Arbor. If you’re ever in the area, stop by and visit us at 220 S Main Street, Suite 301.
See you soon!
